    Jonathan Friz: Ten Days of 'Upper Room' Prayer in Northfield MA

    Brandt Gillespie writes: A critically important 10 days is coming soon. I wanted to make sure you were aware of these Ten Days of "Upper Room" Prayer in Northfield, Massachusetts, from May 17- May 27. This is the same timeframe the disciples spent in the Upper Room in Jerusalem.

    The place is historic: The Northfield School founded by D. L. Moody in Northfield, Massachusetts. The 10 days will function like a short-term missions trip, with participants leaving behind their normal lives to seek God in an intensive way, in community with one another and the Lord.

    The focus and the background are best described in this short video interview with the organizer of this unique event, Jonathan Friz. Please take a moment to watch. The "Prayer Missionaries" will be living for the 10 days at the Northfield School. There will be time for a few outings in the area. There is a reasonable cost of $35 per day for each "Prayer Missionary" to cover room and board. There are also many other ways to be involved or provide much needed support for this important event. In this interview, Jonathan explains the 10 Days and tells how you can participate.

    We attended this event. The first prayer event where people prayed, really prayed since the concerts of prayer. It was awesome.
