David Manuel:
Second night of Benny Hinn Crusade in Boston
David Manuel writes: How to compare Thursday night and last night (July 28, 2006). . . . Once again, the joy was like exploding diamonds – Niagara Falls caught in the late afternoon sun. Once again, the unity was breathtaking – our hearts were beating as one, in synch with the Heart of Heaven. Once again, the power of the Holy Spirit was awesome – waves of people going down under it, including the pastors who at times looked like they were trying to remain upright on tilting ice.
Last night was still different. The night before, we had waves of unsaved and then unfilled coming forward. We had encouraging demonstrations of God’s desire to heal. But we also had the un-surrendered, kneeling to clear their hearts – that had never happened in Boston in such magnitude! Last night, we again had a time of purification, but it was building on the extraordinary ground-breaking of the night before.
So, which night was the ultimate? One Bob thought it was Thursday night; the other Bob thought it was last night. To me, they were two huge cracks, by far the biggest yet. As Thursday night unfolded, I pleaded with God to give me a handle on what was happening, how it fit into the prophesied Revival in Boston.
What came to me was that we were looking at a great golden egg. Inside, a chick was pecking at it, trying to get out. The egg was Boston. The chick was an eaglet, already named: Awakening. It had been pecking for awhile; if you looked closely, you could see hairline cracks all over it. But Thursday night was a huge, jagged crack, running the length of the egg! And Friday was another huge, jagged crack – similar but unique.
The eaglet is almost out. We thought it might emerge last night. The shell cannot hold it much longer; in fact, it’s so close to breaking out, we can almost see its beak!
Peck, peck, peck. . . crack!
For I will crack that egg, exactly as I have said, long ago and recently. Get your hearts ready. When he comes forth, you will be so busy, you won’t have time to do anything but what I show you and tell you. Abandon yourselves to me right now. You may not have time to wait until tomorrow.
