Another marvelous illustration how God grants us the desires of our heart: On Nov. 21, 2005 newne.net published a letter from Bill Swilling, pastor of First Baptist Church in Cambridge. Bill wrote: "First Baptist has a vision of the Church fulfilling Mk.11:17 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.' We want to be known as the Central Square House of Prayer." Bill's wish is becoming true.Lou Engle today announced that First Baptist Cambridge will be the hub of 'The Uprising': "As we prepare for [the 40 days of prayer], we are becoming increasingly aware of the Lord’s hand orchestrating this historic season of prayer and fasting...The House of Prayer will be at First Baptist Church located on 5 Magazine Street in Cambridge."
